Huelva is in the southwest of the peninsula, and in the extreme west of Andalusia. You can reach the province by car from Seville by taking the A-49, the "Autivía del V Centenario", which connects the two Andalusian capitals Huelva and Seville. By car
If you are coming from the north, you can reach here by passing Extremadura on the N435 motorway, and from the west passing through Portugal. If you are coming from Madrid, you have two options:either taking the National V motorway until Mérida and then joining the N435; or going to Seville and joining the A-49 road which links this city with Huelva. if you travel to Huelva from the east of Andalusia, just take the A-92 road to Seville, then join the A-49.
By air
The closest airport to Huelva is Seville airport, which is 90 kilometres away. You could also travel to Faro airport in Portugal, which is approximately 2 hours away. Both airports are international, and have good connections.
By train
