In the province of Huelva there are a wealth of alternative sports options available, at sea or on land, on the coast or in the sierra, including walking along one of the multiple hiking routes, playing golf, or sailing. We can recommend various sporting activities to practice when you visit Huelva during your holidays, such playing a round of golf in one of the three excellent facilities found in the area- Islantilla, Bellavista and Isla Canela. In all three clubs you can enjoy a game of 18 holes, and in Islantilla, up to 27 holes.
Or, if you would like to appreciate the beauty of the Sierra de Aracena, the Sierra de Huelva, the Doñana National Park, or the Natural Park of the Marches of Odiel, amongst other nature spots, bear in mind that in Huelva you will find a wide range of itineries and activities for all levels of fitness, whether it be bike rides or hiking. The many routes range from a one hour walk, to a 40 kilometre bike ride, all among the splendour of the unique natural landscape of this area.
In addition, Huelva boasts three marinas, from which you can sail, or go sea fishing, as well as the 150 kilometres of beaches, where you can kitesurf or windsurf depending on the wind conditions. |
