Estamos ante una playa que se encuentra rodeada de parajes naturales, lo que le da una belleza y un encanto especial. Por un lado, la Reserva Natural de la Laguna del Portil, el Paraje Natural de Enebrales de Punta Umbría y el Parque Natural de las Marismas de Odiel.
Es una playa urbana de cuatro kilómetros y cuenta con algunos servicios. Es de arena dorada.
